Christmas Day

This is my moms tree...massive amounts of gifts!

There were 6 kids and 7 adults. It was a full house.

BBrad Birthday!

We had the most awesome cake made!

Cara-Lee from www.sweetsbakery.ca made the cake and all the kids loved and and said it was the best cake they ever had :D

Then the boys made gingerbread houses

Here are only two of them. One of them went home before I got to taking pics of them.

We then headed out for some fireworks! It was amazing!

December Weather

It's been crazy windy here the last two days.

My sons school was without hydro today so all the kids were send to another school and had to wait in a gym for the parents to pick them up. Can you imagine a whole school waiting in a gym?!! That's a lot of kids in one room!

Ugh to being ill!

The above was me over the last two days. Sessions were rescheduled so I could lay on the couch for two days and get some rest. I've been coughing for 6 weeks! My sister, mother, office manager and friend all insisted I go to the hospital, so I did and the Dr told me she was giving me the strongest cough medicine. It has morphine in it. I'm wondering if this is only something I take at night.

So for the last two days I laid on the couch watching movies. It was almost great...just besides the sick thing of course, as I don't get to watch a lot of movies, or lay down for a day so that part I enjoyed.

I was back to work today :)

I drove my son to the dentist

then to work

Christa bought lunch

When I got home I went to my moms for supper

Then back to my place, hung out with Brad for a bit

then Janet and I went out for a drink

the woman singing was amazing so I bought her two CDs

Then home to bed and I was fine the next day

We headed out to The Trews Concert as they were in town tonight. It was off to a friends for a dinner party then to the concert. The concert was great :D
