I took my son, niece and nephew on a winter hike through the woods on a trail
The stream jumping was fun for them
They ran up and down the hill a few times just running and sliding on their bums
I think Brad hit a rock and said it felt like he hit a troll.
No idea where the troll came form, lol
My son:
The boys walk back up the hill
Jordain takes a break. She took a lot of breaks but I guess it would be tiring walking through the snow for awhile. I think our hike was probably about an hour...or more
Here is Brad making a run for it.
One of me:
It was pretty dark by the time we headed back out of the trail
We spent Christmas at my moms. Here are a few image from the day
I LOVE this face: Mom and Makena chilling
Makena takes a seat in one of Justins gifts
Jordian is a big fan of high school musical
Makena reaching out for the camera
This dirty cloth was in my gift bag and it was pretty smelly. We thought maybe Makena put it in there but later found out it was Brad playing a joke
I'm big on the hand sanitizer so I got some for Christmas
The face of my sister when I have the camera on her. Yes, she is a big smiler -- NOT!
Justin got a new guitar
I really do not sing well -- at all, but it's fun trying.
Jordian likes when I try anyway, lol
The men spent some time colouring :)
How cute?!!
Mackena and I try on some blond wigs for fun. We like to pretend we are rock stars...or I do and I'll drag whoever I can along with me :D
I know, my sons hair is crazy long
Jordain tries the rock star look And we jam like rock stars
Makena wants in on the fun too so I picked her up and danced with her on the chair. We had a mic running off the radio and sang the same song over and over -- So What by Pink
Yes, me dancing away
I love this one. They are playing with the a computer toy Justin got for Christmas
Awesome cake, right?!! Our friend Krysti made it last minute as my sisters decorator cancelled but for a good reason. So Krysti came through with this beautiful a cake with just a few days notice.
Below is an image of Mackena playing with her new Elmo. This Elmo does the chicken dance. She loves it.
I love this look for her -- to cute!
Here is my sister Janet with Mackena other cake. Yes, she has two cakes. Lucky girl!
We were Christmas shopping and I I really liked this scarf. If I had brought my wallet I would have bought it. So instead I just wrapped it around Mackena -- to cute!
My son is an excellent runner. He actually likes running for fun.
So, now in public school they have a track team which he was excited to be a part of. They run at school at everyday if the kids are on the team. He placed 10th out of 40+ runners. If you place in the top 10 than you go onto the next level so from there he will have to place in the top three to go on to the next level from there.

some reading: Some hits in the head:
and then baby Mack tries to put some 3D glasses on Brad
Life is busy! I'm 30 and my son is 12yrs...so if you do the math, yes I was young when I was a new mom. My whites are never whiter than white and my house is never spotless. My priorities lay in making sure I raise a well mannered man while working like crazy to provide a decent life. I own a photography company, single parent....and I do it with the help of many. We live across the road from my mother and sister in a 3 bedroom house in a neighborhood with lots of kids around. I love this town, house and neighborhood. Life is good!
